Here is what's happening...
- ISM-Pittsburgh is seeking respondents to participate in its local Report on Business. Wiith the use of Survey Monkey, participation is as simple as a few clicks of the mouse. Contact Mr. Tom Youngs at tyoungs@bc.pitt.edu to begin making valuable contributions to ISM-Pittsburgh.
- Current C.P.M.s who do not meet the minimum requirements
for the new qualification will be encouraged to maintain their expertise through
recertification. Professionals will have the same ability to recertify as they
do now. The C.P.M.s main focus covers the operational aspects of purchasing, but
also includes supply functions such as agreements, negotiations, technology and
relationship management.
